NEWBORN CARE

Bringing your little one home can be overwhelming, Simply Swaddled is here to work with you to provide loving care to your little one and non-judgemental support to you.  These services are geared towards helping in those first six months of your baby's life.  We help gently guide your newborn into a natural schedule, assist with breastfeeding or formula feeding, and other newborn needs.  Our Newborn Care Specialist is trained to help with colic, reflux, umbilical cord care, circumcision care, bathing, diapering, proper bottle cleaning, soothing baby, and a variety of other topics. * 


DAYTIME CARE


With this service, your baby will be tended to and cared for throughout the day.  The Newborn Care Specialist will engage in stimulating and developmentally appropriate activities for your newborn while awake, handle feedings, offer breastfeeding support, scheduling, and creating a nurturing environment for your little one to thrive.  She can also assist in making sure everything is stocked and the baby related household duties are being completed.  Your NCS will keep a detailed log of your baby's day so that you can see his or her patterns and habits.  Our daytime care has a minimum of booking two weeks.  

OVERNIGHT CARE


Our NCS will arrive to your home before the bedtime routine for your baby begins.  She will begin by assisting you in creating a routine that is conducive to sleep and easy for you to implement and maintain consistently.  As the habits we develop in infancy set the foundation for our lifelong sleep habits, our NCS will gently guide your little one into creating healthy sleep habits from day one. Providing daily check ins when she arrives to address any questions or concerns.   In addition to healthy sleep habits, she will provide quality care for your newborn throughout the night, keeping a detailed log of feedings, sleep patterns, and more. This option allows parents to restfully sleep ensuring they can be fully present for the day ahead of them.  Overnight care has a minimum of booking two weeks.

24 HOUR CARE


Combining the daytime care and overnight care, a Newborn Care Specialist will work 20 hour shifts, tending to your new baby's needs around the clock.  With this service, the NCS will come into your home provide an extra set of hands and assist with all things baby.  24 hour care provides everything from breastfeeding assistance and creating a healthy sleep environment to ensuring the nursery is stocked and organized at all times. She will also set up a routine for the newborn that fits your family’s needs and guide you on age appropriate activities and schedules.  The NCS will need a private room in your home where she will stay.  4 hour breaks are required to ensure your NCS can rest and provide the best care and support to your family.
